Introduction

The Sub-Jail, Kujang was established on 27.11.1996. The present Sub-Jail is situated in Samagola Village of Kujang Block. The total area of the Jail is 4.55 acres. The schedule capacity of the Jail is 122 Nos at present 69 Male and 04 Female inmates are confined in this Sub-jail.

Recreation And Cultural Programme

For The Recreation Of The Inmates The Following Game Materials Have Been Provided. T.V. Sets 04 Nos, Carom Board 02 Nos, Ludu Three Sets And Volley Ball One Set. Besides This Three Daily News Papers And Library Books Have Been Provided To The Inmates For Reading / Recreation Purpose.
Spirituals Programmes Like Bhajan Kirtan And Prabachans Have Been Organised Insides The Jail By The Various Organization Of Kujang In Regular Interval.

Legal Aid Programme

Legal Aid Clinic Are Organised By The Trained Para Legal Volunteers And Panel Of Advocates Appointed By The Taluk Legal Services Committee, Kujang To Provided Necessary Legal Advice To The Inmates And In Case Of Poor Inmates Advocates Are Being Provided Through Taluk Legal Services Committee, Kujang.
